At Catearcotton, we want you to love your carefully crafted pieces as much as we loved creating them. Each item, whether it’s a cozy sweater, a chic dress, or a stylish accessory, is made with attention to detail and quality.

Because of the handmade nature of our products, we have a clear and fair returns policy. Please read it carefully before making your purchase.

Due to hygiene reasons and the handmade nature of our items, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or defective. This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of quality and ensures that every customer receives a brand-new, untouched piece.

Returns for Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging your order, but sometimes accidents happen during transit. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.

To report a damaged or defective item:

  • Email us at catearcotton@outlook.com with your order number
  • Include clear photos showing the damage or defect
  • Provide a brief description of the issue

Once we receive your email, our team will review your request and respond within 24–48 hours. If approved, we will offer you one of the following options:

  • A replacement (subject to availability)
  • A refund to your original payment method
  • Store credit for a future purchase

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene reasons and the intimate nature of certain products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Sale or clearance items (final sale)
  • Gift cards

Returns for Other Reasons

If you change your mind about a purchase, we understand, but please note that we generally do not accept returns for change of mind.

However, if you believe there is a valid reason for a return outside of our damaged/defective policy, please contact us, and we will consider your request on a case-by-case basis. If we approve such a return, the following conditions apply:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • A restocking fee of [15% / 20%] may apply
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item

How to Initiate a Return

For any approved return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at catearcotton@outlook.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for our team to confirm your return and provide instructions
  3. Package the item securely in its original packaging
  4. Ship the item to the address we provide
  5. Email us the tracking number once shipped

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • Processing times vary depending on your bank or credit card company

Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • For approved returns due to our error (damaged/defective item), we will provide a prepaid shipping label
  • For other approved returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please return the original item following our return process and place a new order separately. This ensures you receive your desired item as quickly as possible.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not already been shipped. After 24 hours or once the item has been shipped, cancellations are not possible, and our standard return policy applies.
